Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SERP.tools (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Anton Shaban, Warsaw, Poland ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SERP.tools provides free technical SEO utilities including keyword density analysis, robots.txt validation, HTTP response checking, sitemap analysis, schema validation, and more. The core tools are free. An optional account lets you save history, vote on roadmap features, and access account-specific features.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to announce significant changes.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may delete your account at any time via account settings (UserButton → Security → Delete account).
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated tools.
  • Submit URLs designed to probe internal network resources (SSRF attacks).
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measures.
  • Use the Service in a way that causes disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

5. Intellectual property

The SERP.tools name, logo, design, and code are owned by Anton Shaban. Tool results and analysis outputs are yours to use freely. You may not reproduce the Service's interface, branding, or substantial portions of its content without permission.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of results. SEO tool outputs are informational — always verify results before making decisions based on them.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of rankings, revenue, or business. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed €100.

8. Third-party services

Some tools fetch data from third-party websites and APIs. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party websites. Links to third-party sites do not constitute endorsement.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Warsaw, Poland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
